Is my beardie a little under weight?

This past Saturday I went to a repticon in houston looking to pick up an adult or sub adult beardie, I managed to pick up my 16inch boy who ill probably name sarsaparilla. This is my first time owning a beardie and I did a ton of research, he looks pretty healthy but here's a back ground on him from the breaded I bought him from. He was a rescue that had been abused he didn't specify how but it is obvious by the big healed scar on his chin and the fact he looks like he's recovered from malnutrition. I'll share some pictures of him and want your opinion on his weight! Please be helpful and respectfull! has she seen a vet for a checkup?

Those discolored scales on the belly, are they affecting the scales or is it something that comes off after a bath?

Looks like a leatherback to me. If you check out the sexing section I would lift her tail as I'm suspecting from the initial pic he is a she. But you'll want to confirm

The discoloration hasn't come off after iv left he or she to soak the last 2 days. Maybe from light scrubbing? But ya they don't seem to cause any discomfort, might be left over from what ever abuse was suffered in the past.

I've had discolored scales before that were caused by bacteria. A bath of diluted betadine (tea colored) for a period of 3 weeks cleared it up.
