Is My Beardie a Boy or a Girl?

Hi all, I have been told Basil is a lil boy, but having seen some pics on internet I am not now sure if he is a she :roll: I have some pics here if anyone could help. Also could anyone tell me why he/she is dark by her/his tail? I have scrubbed it gently and she/he (i refuse to say "it") has had a bath everyday.

I almost want to say girl but becuase of the dark skin its hard to tell

yup that was my thought. I tried to take a better pic but the lil one was squirming by then so I thought it best to give up

Ok, having looked at this site http://www.dachiu.com/beardeddragoncare/sexingdragons.html I have decided my lil man is actually a lil lass. Lol might have to think of a name other than Basil.

should be a female, as for the dark vent , is it crusty or flaky or does it feel like normal skin.

girl if it was a boy it would have two little "balls" on each side above the vent..it is possible that the dark area is due to shedding soon
