Is my bearded dragon going into brumation?

Hi, this is my first bearded dragon, so bearded dragon behavior is new to me. Since yesterday my bearded dragon has been laying down under his hammock. He is stilling eating. And he is pooping as much as he used to. What should I do?

Do they have a hide that only has one opening? Give the option to go into the hide. Sometimes they aren't fully going into brumation, but simply conserving energy with the cold. If they just seem a little lethargic, what wattage bulb do you have? We have to make sure to keep our critters at the right temperature. The weather where you live may be colder, so you need to upgrade wattage to compensate for that. I recommend a laser thermometer to find out the temp in the basking area.
If you dragon keeps wanting to sleep, it might be time to look into helping them into brumation.

He does have a hiding area. I have a 150 watt bulb for the winter. He is basking today. So, maybe I should keep a eye on him for a bit before thinking about helping him into brumation?

What kind of bulb is your 150w? Does it provide UVB as well as heat? I don't change the lighting or schedule during brumation. It's good to double check the lighting is right though because if that's off then it can cause lethargic behavior and health problems.

Its a Zoo Med Basking Spot. The temp is still high. He is now sleeping and now I dont know if here has had enough food as he needs. What should I do now?

That one is a decent basking bulb, but doesn't produce UVB. Do you have a UVB light as well?

Yes i do UVB bulb. He isnt sleeping during the day rn, and he still is eating but he doesnt come out of his hiding area. Should I take him to a vet? I dont think hes sick tho

They don't always sleep during brumation. You don't necessarily need a vet now though. Track his weight and if that remains stable I'd let him be. If he is losing a significant amount then a vet may be in order.
