Is my bearded dragon brumating?

For the last 2/3 days, Sherbert has been sleeping in his box more often than usual, an whenever I try to put him back on his basking area, he goes back to his box. I don't know if he should be brumating right now at his age. How do I make sure that he is 100% brumating, and not just sick? I don't want him to die in his sleep all of sudden.

Sherbert is a 15 inch, 5 month old male. The fact that he's young concerns me.
Setup:
50 gallon tank
Heat lamp: bright white 70 watt flood light (heats up surface 100-110 degrees Fahrenheit)
Night can get from 60-75 degrees
UVB: Reptisun 10.0 T5 florescent tube
Lights are still good to use
He has a cold and hot side
Substrate: non-adhesive shelf liner
Shoebox with blanket for hide, wooden plank for ramp, a log for climbing, bricks for basking, a bowl for food, and two AcuRite thermometers.
I feed him collard greens and dandelion greens in the morning, and roaches later in the day with calcium.

I've also fed him these past days, and he was able to digest his food most of the day yesterday, so he got all poop out of his system. Am I suppose to keep feeding him during brumation? I know some dragons won't be hungry when brumating, but I can take him out and he'll go crazy for any visible roach. So I'm still wondering if he is actually brumating or not. He's not in any deep sleep or anything, but he's rather taking long naps.

UPDATE: right after that last paragraph, I saw him come out of his box and bask in the light. He's really active and not lethargic or anything. I actually don't think he's actually brumating?? I fed him some roaches and he was hunting them all over the place.

It doesn't sound like brumation. If he's active and eating that's a good sign. Your temps and UVB light are good so perhaps he is bored or just going through a sleepy phase which happens from time to time. Do you see signs of a big shed coming on? That can have them acting odd sometimes. If you take him out of the tank for a bit does he roam around and explore?

Yes, he explores and roams around. No, I don't think he's going to have a shed. I don't think he's brumating as he is not sleeping that much anymore. Might be like you said; a sleepy phase :?

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
