Is mouth gaping ok?

I've noticed Baldr's been mouth gaping while basking lately. I know they do that to regulate temperature, but should I lower the dimmer slightly? I don't want to because I want his basking temp to stay high but I'm wondering why he doesn't move to the cool side of his cage if he's feeling overheated.

it perfectly normal, he'll move if he gets too overheated. What are the temp currently?
