Is it time for Freddie to go to live food?

I have been feeding Freddie freeze dried crickets since I got him. He is now 8 1/2 inches and won't shed his tail. He has lost his interest in the freeze dry crickets, so I was wondering if I should start him on phoenix worms? I am planning on getting the stuff to breed phoenix worms next week.

Phoenix worms are a wonderful live feeder is there a reason he hasn't had live feeders before?? Dubia roaches are great too (if they're legal where you are).

Should have been on live food long ago, dried insect don't have the proper nutrition.
