Ah.... thank you so much for taking the time to reply. Both of you. You guys have no idea how much better it makes me feel. Especially when your advice coincides with the vet. I am definitely hanging on to her. I had a lot of faith in her to begin with, then I started seeing little things that scared me. But I see so many "my vet doesn't know what they're talking about" threads or posts pointing out it was a vet lacking beardie knowledge so it makes it really scary trying to pick one when you absolutely gotta take the little fella in.

I agree he is doing very well, considering the circumstances. I just worry lol.

My husband got a big ego boost when I told him Ellen said he was right. He wants me to tell you "he knows he's right" lol!... Men...

Bless him, he should be ok, but he is definitely in some discomfort. He can stay on the metacam
for awhile but not long term really, it's too hard on their systems.
Definitely let him rest & try to keep him calmed down as much as you can. I definitely do
recommend keeping the splint on to mobilize it so it can heal. He is young, so, he will heal up
pretty quickly.
Kevin is a great name! I'm glad that you were able to find a good vet off of the website,
it does have some great listings.
Let us know how he is doing.
