Is it okay to feed beardies pinkies?

Hi. I don't. But other people do. Definitely only once in a while they can cause fatty liver disease and carry Salmonella.

Hmm, I read somewhere feeding mice is not really recommended. If anything, one of those "feed rarely" options.

Tiny pinkie mice are not to be used as a staple but are not harmful or fatty before a certain size + age. They do have a good nutritional + calcium content. I wouldn't use them just because we had pet mice as kida and I can't help feel sorry for them. The frozen/thawed can carry diseases + I'd never put them in my freezer, but then most reptiles, including our beardies, carry salmonella.
