why is my beardie always black when hes not basking, when hes basking hes normall colour, i have the right temps i feed him the right amount he had a reptisun 10.0 florescent tube. 4ftx2ftx2ft viv, is this just his personality because ive never seen just a black beard his body is black all over.

You say your temps are right, what are they and how do you measure them? Also what exactly do you feed him. He is unhappy about something. It's a matter of finding out what. Kinda like when a baby cries, you go through the check list to figure out what is wrong. So let's see what it might be.
First double check the temps.
Next the food, oh and his poops, does he?
How often do you bathe him? The humidity is awfully low inside in the winter. He may have dehydrated.
