Is Fluffy a boy? Morph help too

We received this guy after his previous owner lost their house in the flood here. He was very aggressive, we are making good progress with him :). I am very curious about his gender and morph. I think he's a male but I am lost when it comes to nailing down a specific morph.
Thanks in advance! Any tips on taming are also greatly appreciated.

Looks like a possible female but a few more pics with the tail arched up high might make it more clear. :)

You can take a flashlight and shine on the back side of his tail and look through to the underside. Like shine the light "through"his tail and that'll give you a pretty good image

The flaslight method is very reliable.....it may actually be a male now that I look at the larger femoral pores [ not many females have ones that are that big ] Here's how to do it :

Oh, and he's a normal/standard phase, nice color though.

I am probably going to post too many pictures. :) This was not easy with this little aggressive guy lol I hope I got at least one good one. I had another quick question. He seems to be a little lighter around his vent, is that normal?
Thanks again!!

Not necessarily. Perhaps towards eachother but not to humans from what I've seen. All 3 of my guys have been quite gentile.

He looks standard to me, but I don't know much (or focus on) morphs much. As far as taming goes, be patient. Speak to him and move slowly around him and be gentile. Start a routine (use light timers) so that he gets up and goes to sleep around the same time daily. Since he's a rescue it may take longer than usual to get him used to a loving home so patience is key.

Knowing his sex and morph are purly for my curiosity ☺ I don't even pretend to know enough to breed them lol
I assume its much like gaining a parrots trust/taming. I have done that before and have the scars to prove it! The misunderstood seem to find me. ? lol

I'd imagine it's similar. They all have their own personalities like a bird would. Generally they're pretty sweet though and will rather avoid you if uncomfortable instead of scratch/attack. Show him some love and a save/proper/happy environment and he'll come around. If you have questions or need help lean on us. We're happy to help and have been there.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
