Is Axel Healthy?

I have an aprox. 5 month old beardie names axel. I love him so much and I’m starting to get worried about him because I think he is small. A week after getting him from a Scales N Tales he was diagnosed with a RI and parasites. (He was about 2 months old.) he was treated with antibiotics for the RI and meds for the pinworms & Coccidia. He was just re tested and I’m waiting for the result. I was just wondering if his size was normal for his age. 118 grams and 13.5 in long.
He is currently in a 40 gall breeder until December when my special order bearded dragon AP cage comes in.
His basking temp is between 98-107 f and he has a 125 watt bulb with dig probe thermometer on his log. His UVB is half the tank length and is reptisun 10.0 tube. His cool side is around 81-86 during the day and his night temp mid-high 70’s. He has a cave but sleeps in his hammock on the cool side. He eats greens and veggies(cactus pad, collards, mustard greens,occasionally fruit etc) his protein source is about 10-15 medium Dubia a day and occasional waxworms for treats. He gets baths every other day. He is on a timer for 8am-8pm. Thanks!

Hi there, Axel is a good average size for his age. Some are smaller , some larger at that age. He looks fine.

Thanks AHBD, he is my first dive into the reptile world and I love it so far. With his problems to begin with I get worried over just about everything! The husbandry sounded good as well right? I’ve tried to make it as best as I can for my little guy. The pet store wasn’t much help though!

Axel looks good & his weight is about right, also. They come in all sizes & shapes. LOL
Being on the medication may have slowed him down some, but he will fill out more & get bigger
well into his 2nd year also. It sounds like he is doing good, overall.
Your tank setup sounds great. The Reptisun 10 tube is 6-8 inches from him also?

Thanks for your comment as well the peace of mind is very nice. His bulb is 6-6 1/2 from him when he’s basking depending on his position. ?
