Irwin to Starburst*?

Yesterday Irwin's (named after Steve Irwin) feet and legs exploded with shed in one day he was all done. I woke this morning to find that his back and jaw had exploded aswell. His first full body shed. I have nothing to weigh him with but he did grow a little over a inch this week which is great. Hope he gets to be a BIG boy.

I always feel so bad for our baby when he looks like that, but in a weird way I like it as he's growing.... He's adorable!!! Great pics!

I haven't posted much for a little while so before he is all grown up I wanted to show you all how big he is getting. measuring 11 inches today and 50grams he has grown alot in comparison to the picture of his first shed above.

Irwin is my second beardie after I lost my 1yr old girl a few months back and he is great. He likes to perch on your shoulder and get a better view of whats going on. He eats really good too, no complaints from my end. His favorite salad so far consists of escarole, cilantro, shredded squash, and just recently we found out he loves blueberrys. As far as feeders go though he is a roach man through and through. I had to stop feeding roaches for a couple months to let my colony get big enough for a dragon who eats 15-30+ good sized roaches a day. I had to switch back to crickets and at that point i realized how much he really loves his roaches. Well here are the new pictures.
