Introducing Spyro. Couple of questions?

I don't know how to insert images on this thing. Help, maybe?

I just got my first bearded dragon :blob5:
He's great and I named him Spyro. Spyro the dragon? Spyro the game? Yeah.
So i've had him for about three weeks now and he's settled in fine. I love watching his awkward escapades. Has anyone else noticed that when you take their food bowls away they stand waiting at the glass until you come back? When i come back with all of his greens and crickets he goes crazy and attacks the glass excitedly and then stops and is confused about the invisble barrier blocking his sticky tounge.

I have a few questions.
1: Is it normal for babies to have stress lines for no reason?
2: Is it safe to introduce my kitten to him?
3: Could someone give me a list of different fruits and veggies i can give to him?

Thankyou!

Hi there,
Well the kitten may be too rough and I love Spyro games.
You can give him kale, turnips, dandelion greens, collard and mustard greens, carrots and I have heard
some owners give them sqaush but I never done that myself and no spinach or lettuce I hear
it's bad for them.
You can give him apples, blueberries, some use raspberries and bananas also grapes, I've done
grapes trust me it's harmless just no citrus like oranges.
I am sure it's normal after all my baby (he's 8 years old by the way) used to have them all the time.

Good luck!

Hi! Welcome to the site! It's normal for babies to have stress marks, he is probably still getting used to you. Introducing him to a kitten right now, might be risky. Maybe wait until he is bigger and if you do, make sure it's very supervised! Here is a link to fruits and veggies that are good for dragons!

Can I ask what your setup is?

Thanks for the help guys and yeah sure. Ummm, my viv is a Vivexotic LX36 and his UV light is a Exo Terra 5.0 desert lamp and his heat bulb is an Exo Terra Infared bulb, I think it's 100w, I'm not sure on that one. His basking area is nearly 100 degrees, I'm English. His cool spot is 75-80 degrees. I'm new to all this, I'm not trying to sound pretencious. All the equipment I bought was recommended by forums and websites. They seem to be the most helpful. Thanks again. :)

Sounds good! I just always like to ask, just to be safe! Though, I'm not too sure, about the UV bulb you have..

I am not positive, but I know most UVB brands aren;t very good. The most recommended are the Arcadia and ReptiSun 10.0 linear bulbs. I don't know much about Exo-Terra, but those two are really the only bulbs I've seen everyone to recommend.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
