That sounds amazing! I would be that obnoxious person, who wanted to fondle all the critters, ha, ha! I would spend all day there. And probably come home with some purchase, if not an animal, a fancy new viv, or beardie equipment. My husband is probably delighted that no shows come around here.
He likes my beardies, because I love them so much, but he is not a real animal person, like I am...He has learned to feed them live feed, in case I need a back up, which I think is pretty good.
What made you decide to get a beardie? Have you seen other beardies, and thought about it? I had never intended to get a reptile as a pet. We purchased him for our nephew, who really wanted one. But after a few days, the interest was gone. I could not have any animal neglected in my home, so I became an accidental Beardie mom. It is the best accident ever!
Dezi has so much personality, and to my surprise, he is very smart, cuddly and communicates well. (after I learned his body language and little sounds) Who knew?
Now, he travels with us everywhere, and is a real family member. Even our vacations are planned with Dezi in mind. We had our RV rewired so he has heat and UV B light 24/7. They travel easily. For overnights, his dog travel bag is also where he sleeps..with a heating pad under it, and a hot water bottle for warmth. He has been socialized since he was small, so he loves new people and places.
I have to ask: what is the story behind Mrs. Bunny's name? "Mrs. Fluffy Bunny" is not a name I would usually associate with a beardie, ha, ha! I am guessing your child had some input, there?
And how is Mrs. B, today?
DeziLu shows off his travel bag...
