Cute lil pooper! What is it with that age group of kids and dragons? And then us parents get all caught up and another beardie person is born! Enjoy both your kids!
Hmmmm.... Good question. I suppose if he's not hiding and such. I assume he was fed this morning before he left? It's typically recommended you feed about an hour after you get him home because relocation stress often sets in a bit later, so you want them to eat first. But obviously it's different when you pick up and don't have a beardie shipped.
Hehe, I assumed that was why he hadn't been fed yet. It would be so nice to be able to go pick up a baby and not have them shipped. 2011, maybe I'll make the drive!

Oh, oops. Well, he ate before he left, and has had access to greens all day. We were going to try feeding him a few crickets in a little while, giving him ample time to eat and then digest before lights out.

No, you're fine. I'm thinking in terms of shipped babies (all I'm used to). They havn't been fed in 12-24 hours, so need to be fed quickly. Sorry, I'm not thinking things all the way through this afternoon.
Cool! I'll definitely have to keep up with Khalil's thread then.
Oh, I just went to check in on Rex and measured him again, he's actually very close to 19 inches now - has grown almost an inch in just under 2 weeks - and appears ready to shed his head and one back leg again.
Well, Khalil wasn't very interested in crickets this evening. (Didn't eat any.) But Tom was telling me he pretty much feeds his guys in the morning, so between that and the stress, I'm not terribly surprised.
