I have an adult beardie around 2-3 years old with previous ill health from former bad owners (gut parasites and malnourishment) all of that is cleared up now and he seems healthy.
My one concern is I have noticed he has some dark patches inside his mouth and I have heard that mouth rot is something they can get.
He is eating fine and very active at the moment, gets natural sun every day alongside his UVB lamp. His enclosure is kept at the appropriate range and I keep him regularly bathed.
Currently I’m feeding him on an alternating diet of bok choy leaves, kale, mealworms and crickets with some occasional cooked yellow squash and butternut pumpkin.
I’ll attach images of his mouth to this inquiry where you can see the darker patches. Hoping it’s just his particular colouring considering these patches are fairly symmetrical on both sides and he seems fine otherwise.
