I went to give my Dragon a bath earlier and it was acting funny. I looked closer to notice that somehow, it completely ripped off a fingernail. Front right leg, second finger from the right . The equivalent to the finger thats next our pinky. Besides the whole nail missing, no blood, he almost seems oblivious too it besides the encounter with the bath. He still played and ate like normal. My main question is what should I do to prevent possible infection? I can give him his regular baths(he's probably not big on the idea) and watch it but what should I do with it?

Hi there...you don't really need to do anything. There is usually no infection when a nail comes off, it's happened to several of mine over the years with no problems at all.

My beardie also lost a nail when I first had him (not sure if it was before or after I got him, my roommate noticed ). It grew back in a month or so - it was a little funky for a while, but I can hardy tell the difference now.
