Awwww If there is any question that there is a failure to thrive, you can send off a PM to Tracie and inquire about AV testing. AV has a wide range of symptoms, but failure to thrive is one of them. I would consider keeping the dragon in quarantine pending the results, just for peace of mind. I hate even thinking of that, but my mind can't help it. I hope he's just a slow grower, though!!
