Have you had any luck with finding your baby girl? Rexie did a disappearing act on me, i have a bookcase full of dvd she had got in behind the dvd's and was a sleep, you wouldn.t even of known they had moved. It's a very scary time, my thoughts are with you!

I haven't found her yet.. Like I said I am in a small studio my living quarters are 300 sq feet with kitchen, hallway and bathroom i tore this place up over and over again I can't find her.... .. And she was due to lay at any minute....... This is not fair..... And driving me nuts, she has never done this before never....

If she is due to lay eggs, she has more than likely made herself a little nest somewhere to do so.
I wish she would come out for you. I hate to ask this, but did you ever check outside your aptartment below the window she may have been able to get out? I don't want to think she did get out that window, but....

Sorry she still hasn't come out yet. I can't imagine what you're going through right now.

Have you emptied all of our drawers to make sure didn't get all cozy inside one of them? I know ferrets are different, but my ferrets loved to get up into my dresser.

I think if I were in your shoes, my next plan of attack would be to get some empty boxes and start packing everything up as if you were moving. At least this way you'd be moving stuff around and getting it out of the way so you could get a better look around. Maybe have a friend come over to help move the heavier pieces of furniture just in case.

Have you checked all around the computer wiring? The wires can get nice and warm. Also TV wires in back. If your cabnet wires move easily she may have slipped inside one. Empty each one out. I agree a fresh set of eyes would be a great help.

I lost my Bogie outside last year. We like to think he is having fun running wild. But inside- well she has to be somewhere. I am curious- how did she get out at night. I would have thought she would be too cold to move after lights out. :?
We will be praying for her safe return.

Do you have curtains on your windows, have you checked along the top? There was a post last year about a beardie that ran up a curtain & was perched on the top. I know your girl was gravid, but seriously they get into the strangest places & I know for a fact 3 of our beardies have climbed the living room curtains. Luckily we found each one. I'm wracking my brain trying to think of other weird places. Hope you find her soon.

I lost jaja once when she was just a baby she was hidden in one of my kids toys and didnt show up till almost 2 weeks later i was sure where ever she was she had passed but no she was alive and well and after a few hours under a lamp she was as gutsy as ever dont give up hope look in warm hidey hole ( near appliances ) slippers or shoes the laundry. One of the guys on here suggested setting up a basking spot in clear view at night in the middle of the room on flour then trace foot prints incase shes hiding didnt help me but it might you, I know it sounds nuts but if shes gravid check the curtains and curtain poles and anywhere high she could climb too yodas been going nuts and climb the curtains canvas pictures and all sorts when shes out cos shes about to lay. I hope it helps youll find her and its not your fault it happens they are mischievious little devils x x x

I found her.... My roommate was pulling out the hid a couch where we have looked before and she was curled up in the corner.. So we thinking she was in an area rug that is rolled behind the couch where i looked before also, and went under the couch when we was looking or something... She is under a lamp right now getting her strength back, because she is still gravid so I am going to need her to lay so they won't hurt her.. She is past her lay time... Thanks for everyone's support it was and still is greatly appreciated... :mrgreen:

Woo Hoo! That is wonderful news! I imagine you are so relieved to have found her. After she warms up under her basking light, a warm bath would probably be helpful. I'm so happy for you and for your beardie.
Now if she will just lay those eggs for you, all will be fine!
