Hi, I would like to introduce Rex. Here is a little background. I opened a pet supply store last July in our town, my husband likes to say we supply everything from frogs to hogs..lol. In the first week we were opened we had about 20 people ask for crickets and superworms, so of course we got them, at first I was grossed out with both, but have gotten used to it. One of our customers would get crickets and superworms and one day he asked if we wanted his bearded dragon, it was his daughters and she went off to college and he didn't have the time to spend with him, he told us we could keep him or sell him it didn't matter (he came with everything). Well, neither myself nor my husband has ever had anything besides dogs and cats so we were going to sell him. BUT, after a couple of days we decided that Rex wasn't going anywhere, he was way too cool. We have had Rex about 8 months now, customers come into the store and the first thing they do is say hi to Rex. He is in a 50 gal tank, all of the correct lights and temps and is currently on tile. Rex turned 3 years old sometime in April, he is 18 inches long and weights 415 grams (I just weighed him a couple of days ago). He loves superworms and he will eat blueberries and occasionally crickets, I have tried a variety of things, but so far this is all he will touch. Well, enough of that, here is Rex. They were taken with my cell phone, so sorry about the quality.
