I think my beardie is really sick

I think my beardie is really sick... It looks like he ate an entire bowel movement. It happened a few days ago. I wasn't particularly concerned(he hasn't eaten anything since then either which is concerning). I've been soaking him a little extra because i thought maybe he's constipated(an ongoing issue no matter what I change). Which I'm still suspicious of because he's pood twice in about 30min, but it's just a little and no white stuff. I gave him some water from a dropper. He resisted and ran in the sink, so idt he's on deaths door or anything. But he's obviously uncomfortable and something is bothering him. The inside of his mouth is kinda greyish too. I raised the temps up in his enclosure, and I'm hoping the water and extra heat will do the trick. I can't get to the vet right this second either. So any suggestions on what's wrong with my boy and possible remedies would be awesome. Thx

Can you give us a run down of your setup (pictures also help a lot).
We need to know some things specifically to start to help you.

Age of dragon and how long you've had it
Temperature and how it's measured
UVB light, brand, shape and age
Heat light type
Diet (insect and veggi, what's offered/eaten, supplements and schedule)
Substrate
What is his poop schedule?
When did the concern come up?

I think I've discovered the issue, his rhp was unplugged and it was 83 on the hot side. But I'll post everything just in case it isn't.

*Age 5, had him 5 yrs

*Temperature is NORMALLY 95 on hot side

*UVB strip light, reptisun 10.0 almost a yr old

*Diet includes: collard greens, apple, berries, those purple cubes for beardies, periodically waxworms, and recently started eating mustard greens(suspiciously around the same time he's started becoming lethargic), and then some times squash of various kinds. Fed every other day or so(not on a regular schedule, i know it's not the best for him).

*Substrate is nothing, he's in a melamine(sp) enclosure with a log in it.

*Poop schedule is always irregular. As long as I've had him, it's never been so many days after he poos, or anything.

*Serious concerns came today. But He's been acting pretty sluggish for about a week. He's not exactly a ball of energy anyway, but I normally look in on him everyday and check his colors. His body is normal, but his beard has slowly been getting darker and darker, today it's black. And he rarely has a black beard. So I reached in, picked him up and he's limp. After i put him in the sink with warm water he perked up, then he shook his head from side to side like he was trying to rip something off, or shake something. Then he got limp again. I'm really hoping its just cold and constipation. Idk what else it could be... :(

Well... Apparently something else was wrong... I just went to check on him and he's passed away. Temps that low can't kill him, so i really have no idea. Only significant changes were the organic mustard greens, but I can't see how those could kill him... I'll beat myself up forever on what it could've been... It's possible he ate bad worms, could've been from eating his poo(which I've never heard of), or maybe i didn't wash his new greens good enough, or it could've been his cronic constipation finally did him in. Tons of possibilities... I guess I'll never REALLY know... RIP little lizard...

Oh my gosh, I'm sorry to hear he passed so suddenly. I agree, low temps wouldn't cause such a sudden problem. It sounds like it could have even been something toxic that he ate, maybe it was something on the mustards greens.

You could have a vet run do a necropsy to determine what happened.

Again, I'm so sorry for your loss.

Hello,

Oh gosh, I am sorry about your loss, that is horrible.
Could he have gotten hold of something toxic possibly?
A poisonous insect such as a firefly can cause sudden death like this, too.

I'm thinking bad worms, pesticides in mustard greens, or his chronic constipation finally caught up to him. His enclosure is really secure. Its possible something snuck in, but I doubt it.

Hello,

I am so sorry, it is so devastating to lose them so suddenly.
A necropsy would help reveal what could have been the issue.

Well. I don't have any other beardies, so I don't need to worry about a disease spreading. If it was free, I'd like to find out. But I'm assuming they're not free, so I think I'll just leave it a tragic mystery. I'm definitely never getting another beardie. He is my one and only beardie love :) I'll definitely miss him alot. Gonna bury him tomorrow under a tree next to a lavender bush in my mom's garden, and marked by his favorite rock

Lemme run this by you guys, and let me know if this seems plausible: So after a night of sitting, I saw that my beardies tummy and back were really dark, it was like a line about from mid belly to cloaca(sp). So I'm thinking his chronic constipation finally caught up to him... A few years ago, I was wondering if that would ever do him in. I think eating his uriates impacted him and because of his problem, that made it impossible to pass the chunks... I'm not sure what caused his chronic constipation, it happened even if I soaked him every 3 days and he only ate misted leafy greens. I keep running things over in my mind, and that seems the most likely.

If he had problems with his urates, it may be possible he had a kidney problem. Depending on what caused he constipation, he may have had any number of internal issues either as a result or as the cause, they are masters of hiding illness. Poor guy, it sounds like he will have a nice memorial though.

Oh! Forgot to add. When i felt his tummy a few yrs ago, he had 2 lumps(kidneys I'm guessing). Then after he passed, i felt his tummy and there was one lump. Is this a possible ruptured kidney? And how on earth could he have done that?

I'm so sorry...to lose a bearded dragon you've had for 5 years just like that.

My Rocket turned 9 years old today. He's on his last days. I don't know how I'll live when he passes. It'll be devastating.

Hello,

A ruptured or hardened kidney is very possible, but without a necropsy it is hard to know for sure.
I am sure that he will enjoy the sunshine in his resting place. I am so sorry you lost him.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
