Wow, your cage looks a lot better than it was. That's a huge improvement.

It kinda just grew on one end, and shrunk on the other. Congrats to me... Rango now avoids his basking spot, and sleeps on top of the hide - day and night. lol :study:

Thanks everyone. Today is right at the 2 week mark and he decided to completely turn around. He lad 7 large roaches today and about 15 phoenix worms. I finally had to stop feeding him. :D :D

I also implemented a couple of the suggestions as a temp fix until his viv comes in. Bigger hide box, bigger basking rock, and the light not at an angle anymore. Here it is:

Is that a solid glass top on the enclosure? Where's the ventilation...? Or does it just look like a glass top from the reflection and you have the light clipped on? lol sorry I'm kinda blind sometimes. Oh yeah, and where do you get hide boxes like that??? I want one!

No glass... its wide open. And yes the light is clamped on and then forced down under the lip of the tank. I have the tank wrapped in HVAC tape on that side to the heat doesn't bother it.

Hide box came from www.beanfarm.com :)

The way you have it set up now does look better. But, now he won't bask? What is the temp of the basking stone that he is sitting on? Did you place the probe end right on the basking stone and wait about 45 min to an hr for the temp to stop rising before getting the final reading?

It's hard to tell, but is the UVB 6 to 8" from him while on the basking stone? Are you using the Repti-Sun 10.0 or is it an Acadia bulb?

His greens he's been eating off and on, but never ONCE while we're around and we work from home and see everything. It's almost as if he's waiting until we leave to eat the greens.

Lol, I swear they are shy eaters because mine do the same thing, if they catch you trying to sneak a peak they act like "what? I wasnt eating or anything"

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
