I know this isn’t beardie related, it’s still urgent!!!

So I have a baby baby house gecko that is like a newborn and I have had him for 4 days and he isn’t eating at all !!!!
He is less than a inch and a half. We are giving him fruit flies but he just stares at him!!! Please give us some information on what to do or if it’s okay??

Did you find it in your house or catch it outside ? If it's from outside then that's where he belongs really. If it's cold out though and you need to have him inside be sure to mist the tank a couple times a day and have a live plant for him to climb on to feel comfortable + keep humidity up. Misting allows them to drink as well. Can you post pics of his little set up ? Here's how :

Not much experience with geckos , but he may respond better to blow fly maggots or very small silkworms as his feeder.

Have you got his temperatures right ?

There should be a caresheet online somewhere (try googling his species and caresheets).

If he's truly a hatchling those larva would be too big for him unless they are about the size of a fruitfly. Also, a baby gecko will not eat for the first 3-4 days, receiving nutrition from the yolk sac. The house gecko aka Mediterranean gecko commonly found in Florida as well as many other U.S states . Where are you located ?

Wow, he is a little hatchling for sure.
Small tiny silkworms or tiny mealworms would be perfect for him.
That is true, if he is only a few days old, his yolk sac should provide enough nutrition for
him for probably a week.
If you can't get any of those feeders, you could temporarily get some Repashy gecko food
to help supplement him until you can get some of the tiny worms. Do you have any pictures
of him?

Thank you for all of the reply’s I will post a pic and right now we are trying to feed him fruit fly’s cause that the only thing he can really eat.... we got him from inside my grandmas house and her cat was about to eat him.... he doesn’t look wounded but some of his scales are peeled up.... (not shed). We don’t have a lighting but I have her set close to my bearded dragons light.... (he/she’s cage is on top of my bearded dragons cage... her cage is not too warm I checked...

If you take the photos with your phone first, then go to "User Image Uploader" in the bar above, and upload each individual photo to your account. Then go and post a reply, and above the message box where you type hit the button that says "XIMG", and then select each photo you want to insert into the reply message box, they will insert wherever the cursor is...

I was going to recommend the Repashy Gecko Food as well, he can certainly eat that, but as already mentioned, if you found him inside the house and he just hatched within a day or so ago, he won't eat for a few days because he's absorbing the yolk-sac. I don't know much about the proper temps for a house gecko, but I would imagine that if you don't have the correct lighting/temps for him then that is going to effect his eating as well...

I know it's tempting to keep him but he's better off outside. Exciting to find a cute little thing like that I can imagine but he'll need proper lights, etc indoors and then you have a cat that's going to be at his tank.
