i got quite a suprise yesturday

I went to petco to buy my other repti sun 10.0 bulb, and grabbed the last one on the shelf. when i took it up to the register, i was shocked to find that it cost me only $4.99. The girl behind the counter and I couldn't figure out why, so i left before anyone tried to correct the error. I'm almost scared its a dud or something lol

My local petco toldme they are no longer going to carry Repti-Sun bulbs. They are phasing them out. You probably got it on clearance and won't find it there again.

I dont think they are phasing them out but what you might be referring to is that they are phasing out the T12 fixture bulbs as all new ones must be T8 or less.Either way awesome deal!

the petco & petsmart where i live *in ohio* have already phased out reptisun and only carry reptiglo...
i choose not to buy them but i do know what youre saying about the clearance lol

I know all the petco around me, (maine) are in the process of phasing out zoomed. There switching to nothing but zilla products, I asked the guy why and of course he didnt know, but im sure they got a better price deal with zilla. So now i order online from bigapple herp. Ive had great luck with them, fast shipping, good customer service, and havent had a broken bulb yet. :notworthy:
