I can't pet my My Dragon

I just got a Juvenile dragon two days ago, and he wont let me pet him. I don't know who his originally owner was or if he had been held before. I want to show him that i wont hurt him, but he seems scared and wont eat.

He must be still getting used to his new enclosure. Be persistent my beardie sometimes still runs away from me but I keep trying until he lets me pick him up. Try putting a piece of your clothing in there so he gets used to your scent that's what I did with mine!

Also you have only had him 2 days... let him get settled... they can go through relocation stress for a week or two after they are moved. Let him get used to his surroundings.

I held him 3 times yesterday he was jumpy but didn't scratch or bite!
