So in my house we have 2 dogs. An english setter named Alvin, and a who-knows-what called Dobby, because of his massive ears and because he is pretty much a reincarnation of Dobby the house elf.
So Alvin is the sweetest doggo you'll ever meet. If you're sad or sick, he'll come up and cuddle with you. He's a bit of an elderly man, but every time my dad goes down to the shed to work on his car or something, Alvin will go down with him, and either sit in the race car (I'm not joking, when my dad was working with his mechanic on the car, Alvin hopped in the passenger side and sat where the seat should be and just slept) or go rat hunting.
So last night, I went downstairs before bed to get a drink and grab the guitar strap I bought for my guitarists birthday today. And guess what Alvin was doing? Laying with my dad, watching the tv. I went and gave Alvin a good snuggle, and he just fell asleep while I patted him
