Humidity

What is the best level of humidity in an enclosure and how can I lower mine. I have a water dish that refills itself using a container on top and I mist him twice a day. Thx for the help. Bye

he should have like very very low humidity normally people dont even keep water bowels in their viv becuz it raises it beardies like thier viv dry ( misting them and bathing them is fine it helps them stay hydrated)

ok should I take it out then? How often should I give him baths? Should I put the water cleaner in his bath water

I bathe mine once a day twice a day on really hot days. Plus it encourages him to poop in the bath.

i mist mine once a day..in order to keep humidity levels low take out the water dish..when you mist your beardie and give it baths that is how it will stay hydrated...also, when you mist, make sure you take out your beardie and mist out of the tank..this ensures that your humidity levels will not go up because of the water.

misting doesn't really help much since they absorb water through their vents. baths are much better.

Well i took out the water dish and and his humidity level went up in the morning!! Isnt tht weird. So i'm going to try and mist outside the tank from now on. I also have a food dish in his tank that I put collard greens in every morning and i always spray calcium and vitamin spray on the greens. Today I put a strawberry in there, mine loves em. Could the food dish be causing the problem?

she should be getting baths at least 2-3 times a week. i give falkor a bath everyday though.

i give mine a bath 2xs a day atleast >> he poops alittle being that hes 2 months old and eats alot more baths = less poop in viv. with mine he gets a bath every 4-6 hours except after 10 pm and before 7 am becuase he goes to sleep then
