I have had eggs in a homemade incubator for almost a month and in the last week I haven't been able to keep the humidity up for some reason. The temp has been at 85 and the humidity was between 60-70 and now it is 40-45. I have tried everything like adding more water in the bottom and covering up some holes on top of the strofoam cooler. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? I live in NC so the temps have been up around 80 outside and I have had to turn on the airconditioner in my house. I am thinking that this has something to do with it. But, if I just open the windows the temp gets to high in the incubator. Thankfully, I caught it when it got up to 92 and I am hoping that nothing happend!
