Human Female Dragon Owners (and a cat question)

So, I have a super silly question/funny story.

We have a dragon (Raist) who is about 4 months old, we think, so he's still pretty small.

I try to take Raist out every evening after I get home from work so we can "chat" and bond. For the first few minutes Raist wants to run and crawl everywhere. The funny part is when he is finished "smelling" my cheeks and checking out the couch and wants to snuggle up with me.

He does his little dragon wiggle to get comfy and it is usually ... in my cleavage.
Yup, my cleavage seems to be his favorite, warmest, comfiest spot. He passes out asleep almost immediately. I don't know what he's going to do when he doesn't fit anymore, I'm not very well endowed.

Anyone else experience this? We think it's hysterical. He will find other spots too, but that seems to be his favorite.

Also, he is obsessed with our cat. He wants to play with and jump on the kitty SO BAD, but the cat seems to be kind of scared of him. I try to keep him from jumping on her, because i don't want the cat to hurt him. Even though the one time he did manage to land on her while she was sleeping I almost laughed my butt off at my cat's reaction. She froze in fear.

When Raist in his tank, the cat looks like she's going to eat him. As soon as he is out she either ignores him or looks scared of him.

What kind of experiences have you had with your cats?

Yep. Cleavage definitely makes a nice warm place for a bearded dragon to snuggle into. Mine is full grown and does it too, usually when he gets his "bedtime cuddle", along with the little wiggle that's sort of a cross between "snuggle up" and "dig in" :love5:

Best to keep the beardie and the cat separated if you don't want anyone to get hurt.

I'm male so sadly for my beardie there's no cleavage for it to snuggle into, but every evening around 30 mins before lights out, she walks up my right arm and gets herself positioned half in my hood, half on my neck and does the comfy wiggle before going to sleep. It always makes my day a little bit better !

Female beardie owner here. My husband has joked that my Rygel is like a substitute baby for me (since we don't have any sknkids). During bedtime cuddles, Rygel usually likes to lay on my chest with his nose close to under my chin. The closest Rygel has ever gotten to my cleavage was during one bedtime cuddle when he crawled under my sweater, and my tshirt, then worked his way up and over my shoulder. He ended up sleeping against my upper back, holding on to my bra strap. He had such a strong grip, and was so soundly asleep, that I had to call my husband to help me get him out. He was pretty mad when we finally did get him out.

About cats - we have a cat. In the beginning, she seemed to want to make friends, but we've always been careful to watch her very closely. As Rygel has gotten older, the cat has shown an increased interest in hunting him. She's not scared of him, and he's not scared of her. I am very careful about watching her when Rygel is out.

It can be fun to have pets out together, but most of the time cats & lizards do not mix. I wish that they did & that every animal would just get along, but it just doesn't happen that way.
They do love to snuggle & any chance they get, they love to sleep or take a nap! LOL

Think that needs to be rephrased to read "but cats & lizards do not mix".

Never NEVER ever let a lizard and a cat be near each other. The cat is hard wired to attack lizards and it all can happen in an instant and the result will most likely be a dead lizard (even if it takes a month or so - cats have nasty germs on their claws and teeth - these are lethal to animals who have been bitten or clawed by them.

Mushu likes to sit on top of my rack, but also goes for the side and underboob as well. I'm rather well endowed for my size so I just go along with it!

One thing I've had a problem with is Mushu tries to bite my engagement ring... I don't want to have to take it off every time I handle him. Does anyone else have this problem??

I wonder if a ring might look like something edible to a bearded dragon -- maybe a shiny insect or a worm wrapped around your finger :?

I haven't had this problem because I don't wear any rings, but my husband has discovered that if he waves his pen around, our bearded dragon (Puff) reacts as if he thinks it's a bug and takes a shot at it with his tongue. It works with a pretzel, too. On the other hand, my husband once found an app that would display a bunch of bugs crawling around on the screen on his iphone, and he'd show it to Puff, but Puff would give him this look like, "So what? Am I supposed to be impressed?"

You never know how they're going to react.

I don't think Puff likes my nice comfy sport bra as much as I do because it gives me "uniboob" and takes away the nice little "valley" that he likes to snuggle down into :roll:
