how to tell age

I recently got a beardie and was wondering the best way to tell her age. I figured by her size would be teh best, but I can't find articles at all about size correlating with their age. An example I'm looking for is like 4 inches SVL determines if they are baby or juvenile, and approximately how many months old they are. I'm curious! (also waiting to hear back from a friend of mine who got me the dragon from his friend that is a breeder to see if he knows/can get the breeder to tell me.)

There isn't really an accurate way to know unless you know when it was born.

Size is not accurate at all. For example, I have seen a year old dragon that is only 8 inches because it wasn't fed well and housed poorly. On the other side I've seen a year old dragon that is more double that size.
Genetics also play a role in the size.
So unfortunately, there isn't really a way to know the age unless you have documents or remember when it was born.

unfortunatly there is just no easy way to tell.

We have 2 beardies a male and a female both the same age approx 5/6 months

However, the male is 37cm and weighs 285 grams, whilst the female is 40cm and weighs 185 grams.

Both are healthy and eat well although the female eats alot more greens now, but they put on average 20 grams per week at the moment.

also the male has only just caught up in length as he used to be the smaller of the 2.

They seem to have major growth spurts sometimes, also males are generally fatter and females sleaker.
