how to prepare wood for tank...

i cut a log off a tree to put in my tank, its too big to fit in my oven. i read something about putting it in a freezer but my freezer is about one foot deep at most,,, the stick is around 3 feet. just wondering can i heat up the oven and put half of it in and repeat for aslong as it needs or wil this not be enough either that or grill it slowly... or maybe there is another option i dont know of any recommendations would be appreciated anyway. also what else do i need to do to make this safe?... bleach etc.
i saw a list of bad woods to use aswell im pretty sure its not one of them but id only know from pictures how w#bad would they be if it was one of them anyway?...

If you have a grill i would use that in the same way you would use you oven, just make shor not to bern the log. If not cut it a bit smaller.

i grilled it slowly anyway.. i dont have bleach tho is this necessary or would the grilling be enough.

I would not bleach it, a good alternutive would be viniger and water. The belach can stay in the woold and harm you dragon, wich i know you dont want to do. So sock it in viniger and then re heat it for about 1hr on the grill.
