How to keep crickets clean?

If I order, lets say 1000 crickets, which I have to do from now on over the Internet - as my local pet shop sells 100 crickets for around 8 EUR/10 USD (yep, IT IS TRUE!)

How do I keep them clean? I mean, If I have 1000 crickets on a keeper, how in the world do I clean out the feces easily? I cannot just move 1000 crickets 1 by 1.

Does the crickets easier spread diseases if I do not keep the cricket cage clean? (Unlikely, how it is possible if they just eat their own feces anyway)?

Right now they are running around on the plastic floor, should I put newspaper there?

as soon as i get my crickets home i put them in a fresh container. I then throw out all the substrate and crap in the container they came with. I then place fresh gutload in and then drop say 50 back into the original container (now with gutload). I let them eat for 10-15 before chucking them into the dragon. I then drop 50 more into the gutloaded container and repeat at next feed time.
every 2 days swap the carrot over in the main container of crickets
every 4 days sprinkle crushed up wheatbix in the main container so the colony can eat.
