Hi guys,

I got a questions. My beardies has very sharp nails. When I handle him , his nails kinda hurt me. He will cling his nail to my hand as if my hand is his wood log. So far my has already have several small scars from his nails.

Is it a good idea to give him a nail cut? or do I have to wear gloves to handle him every time?

If you've got good eyes and a steady hand, you can clip his nails. It's easiest to use a set of baby clippers.
You want to just take off the very, very tip, to blunt out the needle point. Too much and you'll hit a blood
vessel and the quick in the nail, so be careful.

You can also put down some slate tiles in his cage and the rough stone will help to keep his nails smoothed
down so they don't scratch you up.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
