How often do you feed a juvenile bearded dragon?

I've had my beardie for about a month now she is 4 months old. I read online your supposed to feed them 3 times a day I was only feeding her once a day because my friend who has a leopard gecko I know 2 totally different reptiles said he feeds his about 5 crickets once a day so he doesn't overfeed it. I realized she isn't getting much bigger so I'm trying to figure out how often are you supposed to feed them so she's not hungry and she grows.

Hi there, 2 or 3 times a day is generally what is recommended. But once a day is ok too.

And at each of those feedings you need to be offering your dragon as many insects (of an appropriate size) as he/she can eat in a 10-15 minute time span or so. Your dragon most likely won't eat for this whole entire time, but it's good to start out that way so that you get an idea of how much your dragon needs to eat to get its fill.

4 month old hatchling , 2x per day , big meal of live insects in am , smaller meal of live insects in late afternoon , can start introducing salad and chopped veg after 2nd meal of insects .

I typically move to one meal of live insects per day from about 1 yr old with offering of greens and salad.

Lately I've moved to a meal of live insects every 2nd day for my subadults ( about 18 months old ) and offering greens even if they aren't interested .

My selection of live insects are currently
>> BSF , flies & lavae ( wriggly browns and larger soft bodies lavae )
>> supers ( never more than 3 large lavae in a sitting each dragon , or pupa when I have them )
>> crickets ( med to large ) , for a 4 mth old I'd be offering small ( 1/4 size ) crickets ( very important to gutload the supers and crickets with high qual greens , important to dust the crickets daily (but lightly) with caldium powder.
>> mealworms ( treats , never more than 4 - 6 , my gang prefer the beetles and the lavae )
>> silkworms - I love these as feeders for younger dragons , but having a break from farming silkworms since about March , but highly recommend small ( 1" long silkworms and moths for a smaller hatchling like yours as excellent highly nutritious feeder staples if you are breeding your own silks ) , your little dragon can handle medium ( 2" long silks too , 1 or 2 will big meal ).

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
