Hello! Just a quick question... we will be getting a new beardie today so excited! I was going to call the vet today but they were closed on Sundays.. :? i was wondering how much is cost for a normal check up for a Reptile at the vets. I know places may vary in price! Thanks guys
Hi, I live in Orlando, FL and my vet charged $56 for a checkup. We took him in the first 2 weeks we had him because he wasn't eating and we were worried. He also did a fecal and that was $30.
my vet charges 35 for a visit and 18 for a fecal but thats here in oregon in a really small city lol we got lucky and have one of the best herp vets in our county and shes only 30 minutes away from me
If your beardie needs meds for parasites and it isn't urgent, then I would highly recommend you order them at http://www.beardeddragon.co instead of getting meds @ the vet b/c of the cost.
50 and I don't think Ive ever been charged for a fecal. 30 for a revisit.I was given the antiseptic for free, and the other meds were not that expensive.
$42 physical/checkup, $14 fecal for us (in Sherwood, Arkansas). The vet we use specializes in fish but she owns two beardies and has a good knowledge of reptiles as well. The fecal is also just a float prep. No culture or special stain.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
