With Phoenix worms I suspect it will come down more to your budget than anything else. They are pricey worms, but excellent feeders rich in calcium and low in fat. I'd let them eat as many as they want but you might go broke doing that. If you feed other things, you could use them as a supplement and feed maybe 5-10 a day. When he was about 6 months, Dash could consume an entire cup of 50 every day if I let him. Needless to say, that was breaking the bank so he started getting them as supplements and we went back to Dubias and crickets until he was over 16". Now he eats primarily superworms and hornworms, plus his collard green and squash salad. I think he's beginning the shift to more greens and less protein.
Emily, you would need to be careful with Superworms as they aren't recommended for beardies under 16" due to a digestive tract kink they have when smaller than that. Hornworms on the smaller side might be OK as they are soft and squishy with no hard shell.
