how many cycles of eggs/year???

Crixus just laid her 1st ever clutch last week, she's totally recuperated, but now I'm worried it's going to happen again right away (the cycle, not the eggs).... is there usually a set time of year or can this occur year round?? It took a lot out of her.. infertile, but a lot of work regardless.. what is your experience w/ this ..??

Usually starts end of winter/early spring, but in saying that some lay later. They can lay quite a few clutches, I've heard of five being pretty common - my girl laid four last year but they were fertilised. I hope she's okay, just make sure she can pig out on food when she has an appetite, and gets plenty of calcium
