How long without food?

My beardie is about 1 1/2 years old and when we got her she was not in good health. Been to the vet, etc. etc. Well she did very well for about a year. Now, all fo a sudden, she hasnt eaten in two weeks and counting. She is drinking quite a bit and I am giving her repti-aid for her vitamins and calories. But, have no idea whey she wont eat all of a sudden.

She seems a big lethargic, BUT, still moves and loves the sun outside. Could her UV light be old? it is about one year old and I heard you should replace it in 6 mos?

How long can she go without food?

The UV has to be replaced every 6 months yes..So replace it asap..

Have you tried feeding her food that she prefers? You should try feeding her her favorite food and treats..Try mealworms or supers (they usually have a taste for those). Try hand feeding, wiggling the food in front of her.. Is she shedding? That could also be a reason of lost in appetite.. Also: when is her usual brumation time? Has she been in any stress lately? Check her for stress marks.. When did she last poop? Is she losing weight?

Hello and thanks for the response. I will change her light asap. Although, I do put her out in the sun daily to get UV rays. Also, she is only pooping white which is water intake. She ONLY eats hornworms. Trust me, have tried various things in over a year. I have tried everything to get her to eat. Loosing weight, yes, but not much. She normally does not brumate in the summer time. She brumates in the fall/winter. Have no idea other than all the things I have tried, why she doesnt eat. She has always always been a mystery dragon to me.

So is she eating hornworms at the moment? (sorry but I didn't quite get if she is eating them or not atm)..

I'd change the light and if there were no changes or if it was getting worse I'd recommend calling a vet..
Sorry I couldn't be of more help..Maybe someone else will have an idea what to do..
