i was wondering how everyone out there keeps there greens fresh and ready to go for their beardies! also, what is it that you guys give them? what i do is i buy a whole bunch of greens at the store, what ever they have and clean and cut them up so they're ready to go, throw 'em in a ziplock and into the freezer. then takes out a pinch or two and feed it to my 10 month old. i was wondering what techniques you use? any way to make it fresher? what is it that you give to spice things up for your kids? thanks!

i usually buy a bunch of lettus, chop some of it and put it in a glad container with some paper towel. I also chop up some squash and mix it in with the lettus. When the 'stash' has run out I repeat the process :p

I leave it whole until I use the greens and I use those green ziplock bags cause it stays fresher longer. Also you need to rinse them down 2-3 times a week. :D

I buy my veggies weekly at the grocery store, I go home and chop everything (usually collard greens, dandelion greens, and some squash) and put it in a tupperware container. I mist it with water or use paper towels and it stays fresh, and that will feed both my beardies for a week. Then the process repeats.

Fresh vegetables are better received here.
Every week fresh vegetables and greens are purchased at the grocery store. Then washed, cleaned, spinned in salad spinner, and packaged away in ziploc containers with paper towels in the fridge. When I get up, the mixture goes in the bowl and is lightly misted. Easy. And fresh.

I chop them up every few days and put them in a little tupperware container. I'll put a bit of water in and shake it up to keep them moist.

Thanks everyone! Question, when you say you rinse them and cut them up every few days, do you buy them eveu few days? Or do you have them in th fridge?

I have to buy them every few days. I can't seem to keep collards past 3-4 days before it starts to turn. I will chop it up, throw it in some gladware, shred some squash on top and keep it in the fridge.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
