How do I get my beardie interested in bath time?

She's kind of a runner anyways (we haven't even had her for a week), and she tries to bolt out of the tub after she drinks and poops, which is what she immediately does (and in that order, thankfully! ). The temp isn't too cold, nor too hot. My boyfriend's beardie is totally calm during bath time, except running out every once in awhile, while mine freaks out and tries to run and gain traction and when she can't she's very upset.

Some dragons like baths more than others. If she drinks and poops, thats kind of the goal so she doesn't really need to stick around. I'd just let her out, dry her off, and let her be on her way to run around a bit and spend some energy. If she's having trouble with traction, you can try putting a washcloth at the bottom of the bath to help her have some grip.

I bath my skinks and dragons in a round plastic laundry wash tub with handles on it, I make the bath water is about 35oC (noncontact IR gun) and no deeper than 2" for the bluetongue skinks and bearded dragons, and I do this one lizard at a time on the coffee table.

I discovered than my skinks and beardies would freak out if I took them to the kitchen sink or bathroom to bath them in the sink or the bathtub , especially if I ran a tap in their presence. So I don't anymore.

Easier to do it all on the coffee table or floor , so if when the lizard decides it's had enough and climbs out I'm handy or if on the floor they can just climb out and we know they'll be safe from a accidental fall.
(Bathrooms and kitchens usually have very hard floor surfaces, and it's easy for a lizard (or any animal) to slip off a bench or table and land on the floor and break a leg or worse - not worth the risk IMO.)

^ That's a good point. I also set up the bath on the floor. I use a turkey roasting pan because it's about the right size, is portable, and is easy to clean. If she want's to climb out... no problem.

Ok, we've just been trying to make sure they drink (they don't always, they're very small) and we've just tried to get water drops on our fingers and pet them until the water starts cooling off. I'll definitely try to cut down on how long the baths rUn and make sure the water is prepared beforehand! We already do it on the floor and it's just an hors'odervrs (meh spelling) plate that's pretty shallow

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
