Hello,

Most of the time, fecals don't cost more than $20 on average. Are you taking him in for a fecal test or taking the sample by the vet without taking your dragon in?
You will pay an office visit also plus the fecal exam that they run.

Where are you located?

the closest reptile vet to me, about 5 miles away, charges 22 for a fecal test

the next closest, about 40 miles away, charges 15.

unfortunately, I cant get to the cheaper clinic

Ok that helps a lot, so can beardys be taken so they can poop there or take in a sample? Im hoping for it to get tested for parasites if I do go.

I think the best option would be to take your beardie to the vet and have him poo there so its as fresh as possible

next best option would be to put the poo in a clean, sealable container, like a Ziploc bag or a urine sample cup if you have access to one

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
