How big of a Habitat to get?

I am confused? I am wondering what size enclosure to get? But I have heard so many things like the Minimum is a 40 Breeder. Then I hear 55. Then 75. Some people told me to get a 6 Foot Tank and 1 or 2 people even said that an 8 Foot Tank for an Adult Bearded Dragon is mandatory. So which is it?

40 gallon breeder is fine. Many go with 4x2x2 for custom builds. That is about 120 gallons I think.

Seconded. I started off with a Zilla brand "kit", which included a 20-gallon tank, lights, and a carpet, but then I upgraded to a 40 gallon breeder after about two months. I'd definitely recommend getting a large tank from the start and buying each piece (lights, furnishings, etc) separately instead of the kit, since the coil UVB lights aren't as effective as the Reptisun 10.0s.

One day I might get around to making him a "crossfire" habitat (http://www.freewebs.com/crossfireenclosures/) which is 4x2x2, but that will have to wait until my budget gets a bit better. I managed to score the 40-gallon tank on sale, so that should tide me over for a bit.
