Housing the class pet

We are temporarily watching the class pet while schools are shut down. He is a few years old, eats fresh fruit and veggies daily and is fed crickets every two weeks. With stores shut down, any recommendations on what else to feed him? I’ve read we should not capture insects outside. Any thoughts?

How old is the dragon?

You can still order insects online for him. Even if he's an adult, he should be having an insect meal at least 2 or 3 times a week.

Great that he eats his salads every day though.

If you go w/ the silk worms make sure you get food for them - they will eat alot and if you haft to grow them out you will need the food to feed and you will need to clean the frass or poop out as well everyday to every other day --
