I dont have dubia. I have lobster roaches.
I see your somewhat close minded on the subject.
Good luck
Quite honestly I must tell you this post has hurt my feelings and made me pretty upset. So lets clear up some FACTS here.
1)I did not ask for an opinion on what was the best or better feeder, I simply asked about hornworms and wether they could be used as a staple.
2) I am obviously trying to be the best beardie parent I can be as I am asking questions and not assuming I know anything.
3) I never asked about reducing the cost of the feeders, I am feeding.
4) I have a true PHOBIA of roaches from the largest to the smallest....so DO NOT presume to tell me I am colse minded,
In my adult life I have managed to over come many fears and this is one I have tried working on and I have not managed to conquere this one. Another poster said his wife felt the same and I even tried to look at the different options online and could not even look at them, as I immediatley went into a panic attack. So thank you sir or madam for making me feel like I should not come here to ask my questions for fear of being JUDGED or ridiculed. I truly hope at some point in your life when you are faced with a challenge another will not treat you as you have presumed to treat me.
In reply to many on here, my dragons are well fed and loved and other then the roaches, I have tried and will continue to try suggestions from those with more experience. My goal is to have happy healthy dragons and I doubt if they never eat a roach they are going to be living miserable lives. For those whom actually answered the question thank you so much, the hornworms we got from Greatlakes seemed to do the trick and My Mushu and Cosmo are back to eating well again. And for those who suggested Supers...thanks a lot I did some more research and fed Mushu a couple 2 days in a row, and she loves them.BTW she is 17 1/2 inches long for those who didnt know.
