My beardie is 7 months old and I’ve run out of crickets. My local store won’t have a restock until tomorrow so I have two feedings in which my only option is to feed horn worms?? They have wax worms and horn worms available. He won’t eat any dried insects. I’ve heard wax worms are not good for juvenile beardies but I’ve also heard the same for hornworms. I only need a substitution for two feedings. He’s already agitated because he’s shedding too lol.

Missing two insect feedings is not a big deal. He should be eating his salad anyways, he will be fine until you can get your regular insects.

If you want you can feed 1 or 2 appropriately sized hornworms, but it's not necessary.
