hiding spots

what are the thoughts on hollowed out rocks for hiding? anyone using them? i saw a youtube where the female was coming out of one but our breeder said not to have one because they wont get enought heat...

When they are young and still not used to people, they may try to hide too much. Hides are not recommended for young dragons. Once they're older, it's good to give them a cave or somewhere they can go to hide and feel safe. Once they're older, a dragon knows what's best for it. It will bask when it needs to bask.
