Hiding a lot + some other stuff?

I'm thinking he might need to go back to the vet, but I probably wont be able to get him into the exotic vet until next week. I wanted to see if anyone had some similar experiences, or agrees that he needs to go back to the vet? (Long post, I apologise! Just want to get as much detail as possible. Tank set up is down the bottom)

To give a little bit of background...
Haku (definitely male, approx 6 months old), about a month ago went to the vet and was diagnosed with an infection along with parasites. Both of these cases were mild but he was put on medication for them (2 oral, 1 antibiotic). The antibiotic course we ended up stopping early (as advised by the vet) because it was making him feel sick, causing lethargy and loss of appetite. He perked up after a couple of days and seemed to be on the mend. Eating, active etc.

About almost 2 weeks ago he went back in for another check up, blood test came back really good and same with the faecal test, the vet was very happy with his overall health.

For the past four days or more I've noticed Haku seems to be slowing down a bit again. The thing that worries me most is the hiding, as it's not like him to do that. He has been spending a lot of time hiding in his rock cave rather than basking. This concerns me a lot because I'm worried he's not going to get enough UVB during the day, or warmth because he doesn't bask under the heat light either. I do move him up onto his stick to bask under it from time to time but he's already a bit of a lazy lizard and I don't want him to get into the habit of waiting for me to move him.

I tend to let him go, as he likes to dig in his hide as well so he's not always just laying there. But if he stays in there for an hour+ I tend to take him out. When I do take him out his belly feels ice cold and most of the time he looks quite groggy and sleepy. This morning I turned his lights on at 7am as usual, he was in the hide for an hour, came out for 5 minutes and stood in the middle of his tank before going back in for another hour. It was after another 30-45 minutes of him still being in there that I took him out and put him in the middle of his tank. Thankfully this time, he crawled up onto his log that leads up to his hammock/basking stick. Still not quite close enough to be getting a good dose of UVB but he's at least getting some and not nothing. Yesterday I actually took his hide out all together to see what he would do, he ended up burrowing down into the corner of his tank and then moved to to the same behind one of his plants as well. Sometimes he will run around his tank or bask for a little bit but ultimately he always ends up in his hide again.

He wasn't eating anywhere near as much as he should a few days ago (5-6 large crickets a day, sometimes 10 or 12). I thought he might be getting bored of the crickets, he also struggles with catching them and I must admit, the crickets are particularly jumpy. He's also lazy and never puts much "gusto" into catch them. He will try once, if he misses them he gives up. Yesterday I got a box of Wood Roaches in the mail and fed him some he ended up eating 15, which is his limit. The vet thought he was just a little bit chubby and wanted me to cut down his feeding for a bit to 15 max. He actually hasn't lost any weight... in fact he gained a little bit of weight during recovery. His poop is also 100% normal and he goes regularly once a day.

Another concern of mine is that he hasn't shed in quite a while. He used to shed frequently and regularly but he hasn't had a full body shed in over a month. He did shed under his jaw and one of his front legs a few weeks ago but that was it. He hasn't had a full body shed since June/July. Which I find incredibly weird because he has grown an inch or more and filled out quite a bit since. He gets bathed 3 times a week and I do mist him 2 maybe 3 times on non-bath days. He doesn't have water in his tank due to the humidity and he doesn't drink it either... just makes a mess!

He has also been puffing his beard in and out a lot? There's no scheduled time that he does this but I've caught him puffing it in and out for short periods once or twice a day. There's no gaping, gasping, coughing or struggle to breathe while he's doing this. No rasping or wheezing sounds either. He does... from time to time make little huff or puff noises but they're not consistent and he hardly ever makes them, he also doesn't make those noises while puffing out his beard, he mostly does them when he's sitting on me.

I'm inclined to think that he might be getting ready to shed? (Due to the beard puffing and lethargy) Although all this behaviour has been going on for almost a week now. I would have thought that if he was going to start shedding he would have started by now? I did harvest some aloe from my own plant yesterday and after washing the gel through thoroughly I massaged him with it in the bath to try and help with loosening the skin a bit. I've noticed that he has a few very tiny clusters or single dark scales on his jaw, belly and tail as well, not sure if that means anything?

I also thought it may be lack of UVB from his light causing the lethargy but I've had that Reptisun for 4 months or less, I didn't think it would need replacing just yet?

I've taken some photos of him recently too... I'm a bit worried that his bottom eyelid looks a little droopy?

Thank you in advanced for reading my long post of motherly worry!

Tank Set Up:

Size: 60 Gallon (Wooden with glass front)

Substrate: Loose recycled paper pellets (doesn't eat them on accident, haven't had any issues)

UVB: Reptisun 10.0 (7:00am until 8:30/9:00pm)

Basking Light (Day): 100w White Flood Light

Basking Light (Night): Exo Terra 150w Infrared Ceramic (I keep the thermostat turned down quite a bit so it doesn't get too warm, but it's freezing her at night in winter so the tank needs the extra heat)

Temps:
Cool side: 27C (80F) - It usually gets up to 28/29C as the morning goes on, but first thing the temp is a bit on the low side)

Basking side: 40C (104F)

Thermometer: I use an electric thermometer, the monitor itself is on the cool side and the prob is on his basking spot.

He looks pretty good to me. It's good that his weight is stable too. I think your suspicion of a shed is a good guess. Sometimes a shed cycle takes a while to complete. That certainly causes their moodiness, appetite changes, and puffing out.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
