Yes it can be usually they will sustain it but losing some is not abnormal - maybe 10 grams or so

Hi thak for the reply, my basking temps are 25~27c.

Currently still waiting for my UVB long tube fixture, so currently no UVB light.

Dragon is around 9~11 months I believe. Could someone recommend a good hiding decor fixture that he would be comfertable in?

I love this hide (it’s like halfway hide I guess - but that’s what I like about it) - if you’re looking for something that’s comfy and easy for them to get in/out of …

She also has a square basket with a thicker fluffy blanket I put inside that’s turned on it’s side so she can go into and curl up in. I can easily check in on her / she’s not completely hidden away, but she uses it so she seems to feel separated enough and peacefully away from the world.

I shut off all lights as well, so it’s not like she’s getting a bunch of disruptive light coming into this tent or her basket (which is good, that’s what her and I both want)

Sometimes I’ll even toss one of her super super light weight blanket halfway over one of the tent openings or the basket opening. She’s a deep sleep type brumater, so she likes a little privacy

But also you can just Google bearded dragon hides and you’ll see a ton of different hide variety’s - some full on closed off, some made of hard material, some soft like this - you can shop around for what you like and what you think your guy would like

You can “make” a hide too by just using things around the house - like the basket I use for her bed - it was just some older home decor I wasn’t using anymore - I like using stuff like that.
