I have a new baby beardie, we haven't named him yet. He is about two months old, we bought him from a private breeder. He is 5 1/2 " long and weighs 0.2 oz. Does this seem appropriate? He is eating crickets great, but doesnt care for greens. I have been feeding turnip greens. The breeder was feeding romaine lettuce to the babies, and I didn't think that was the best. I gave him a bath yesterday , he didn't care for it. He has pooped twice since we've had him, and we got him last Sunday. He is in a 20few long aquarium, with a 50watt halogen spot bulb for heat. I have checked his temps with a temp gun, and his basking area is 108. I don't have a reptisun, but am ordering one today. I handle him and talk to him several times a day, he is so cute! I will put up pics as soon as I can. How does everything sound? Any ideas for names?
I love this site, I have read a lot, and have so much more to read!

hello Amy,
welcome!! this is a wonderful community so I'm glad you found it! congratulations on your little one!!! its good that he is interested in food now, some don't eat for a few days after being moved around... as for the greens my male STILL doesn't eat greens and he will be 3 years old in June lol! i guess some just never do, keep offering though, he will get the idea eventually. as for a name, after you post a pic it will be easier to help with that or sometimes you have no idea what to call them and one day it hits you!

again welcome as for set up everything sounds great, babies like it warm so that works on his basking spot, sounds like you are well on your way to a happy liskard
