Hey. New to the board, but not to beardies.
After my first beardie (Zilla) died of old age, I went the adoption route this time and now have Wiz (about 1 year old, adopted at around 6 months). His personality is the complete opposite of Zilla's. He's the most social beardie I've ever met. I had to move his house and everything into the living room because he was so stressed that he couldn't people watch and god help you if you don't give him beard scratches. You think this would make him a sweet lizard, but you can see it in his eyes... He's just playing docile, waiting for the perfect moment to kill us all.
From what I was told, Wiz came from a family that didn't know how to take care of reptiles in general and just had him in a tank of sand (which brings me to the why I joined the board, but I'll save my question for the proper forum) with another beardie who bit off part of Wiz's tail. Poor guy.
Anyway, that's him and there's not much to say about me.
